Tobacco Fact
Evidence indicates that tobacco companies manipulate the nicotine level in cigarettes to hook smokers.




The Campaign for Clean Indoor Air has begun in Dutchess County.

A Clean Indoor Air Law is currently being considered by the Dutchess County Legislature for the Regulation of Environmental Tobacco Smoke in Public Places.

The Dutchess County Legislature will be holding a series of Public Hearings on this smoking issue.

Public Hearings:

Tuesday, May 28 @ 7:00pm at the Millbrook Firehouse,
Front Street, Millbrook, NY

Wednesday, May 29 @ 7:00 at John Jay High School
auditorium, 38 2012 Route 52, Hopewell Junction, NY

Saturday, June 1 @ 10:00am at the Hyde Park Town Hall,
4383 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, NY

Thurday, June 6 @ 5:30pm in the legislative chambers,
County Office Building, 22 Market Street, 6th Floor,
Poughkeepsie, NY
